Lee and Katie are getting married in just a little over a month! We got together on Lee’s family farm for the engagement session. There were so many fun areas around the farm to explore that I forgot about how cold it was. Katie did a great job putting up with the cold too. We did get a slight reprieve from the cold when we went into the greenhouse to warm up with the tobacco seedlings. It was hard to leave after that. I should mention Daisy and Dixie (the beautiful labs) as well. They were super cute and did a great job too.
I broke out the Pentax 67 (medium format film) for the image below. I love this camera and try to get it out for portrait sessions when the time is right. It is a bit difficult to hand hold, so I have to be sure if I am hand-holding it to be very aware of my shutter speed and how I am holding the camera. There is still just something about film that I will always love!
