Shannon and are home now and recovering from a month of traveling. We met my family up in Asheville for a few days of fun in the early part of December. Shannon loves Asheville because of the mountains and the weather and I love it because it is a center for creativity. So many galleries and so many artists! We also went to the Poconos in Pennsylvania last week for some skiing. We had a great time skiing and I realize now that age has set in a little bit as I was much more cautious about how fast I went down the mountain. We also had a good time visiting with family over the Christmas holiday. Now that we are back, we are gearing up for 2011. A new semester starts at LCC next week and it’s back reality. We have a lot of exciting things planned for 2011 and I am excited to see where God leads us this year.
Since I am back in the groove of things, that means it’s back to blogging! Tiffany and Taylor were married a few months ago, but I am just now sharing these. They have had their pictures for a month now, I promise didn’t leave them hanging that long! I really had a great experience with these two. As I stated earlier, they are just really laid back and easy going. Tiffany really lights up a room and just seems to have a natural positive outlook. They had a beautiful outdoor wedding and reception in Dunn, North Carolina at the Barrington House. Their cake was made by Ashley’s Cakes out of Raleigh North Carolina. Ashley did an awesome job with the cake! I just really love fall weddings! I love the colors, which probably isn’t a surprise to those who know me. I love natural colors and brown has to be one of my favorite colors. Anyway, here are some of my favorites from the day:
